Kasky, the firm wrote an amicus brief on behalf of the Association of National Advertisers, the American Advertising Federation, and the American Association of Advertising Agencies regarding the right of a corporation to speak on matters of public concern. Other pro bono efforts have included counseling humanitarian organization C.A.R.E. on trademark protection, and representing the Global Ethics Limited Group on its marketing and distribution efforts to improve access to clean drinking water. To support its attorneys in these and other pro bono efforts, the firm counts pro bono hours the same as billable hours.
