Cage Cashiers

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports that the employment of gaming services workers including cage cashiers is projected to grow 5 percent through 2028, about as fast as the average for all occupations. The BLS also reported that in 2018, there were approximately 10,300 workers employed in this field. With that being said, as states benefit from tax revenues generated by casinos, additional states not currently host to commercial gaming establishments may allow new casinos to be built over the next decade. If so these new facilities will generate additional jobs.
