Electrical and Electronics Engineers


Starting salaries for all engineers are generally much higher than for workers in any other field. Entry-level electrical and electronics engineers with a bachelor's degree in engineering earned an average of $66,269, according to a fall 2015 salary survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. The U.S. Department of Labor reports that the median annual salary for electrical engineers was $93,010 in May 2015. The lowest paid engineers earned less than $59,240 and the highest paid engineers earned more than $146,820 annually. Electronics engineers earned salaries that ranged from less than $63,430 to $151,990 or more, with a median salary of $98,270.
