The median hourly wage of full-time electronic home entertainment equipment installers and repairers was $18.17 in May 2015, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Based on a 40-hour workweek, this works out to approximately $37,790 annually. Workers at the lowest 10 percent end of the scale earned less than $10.79—or $22,440 annually. The highest paid 10 percent of electronics service technicians earned more than $28.92 hourly—or $60,160 annually.
