The median hourly wage of full-time electronic home entertainment equipment installers and repairers was $18.35 in May 2018, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Based on a 40-hour workweek, this works out to approximately $38,160 annually. Workers at the lowest 10 percent end of the scale earned less than $11.00—or $22,870 annually. The highest paid 10 percent of electronics service technicians earned more than $28.62 hourly—or $59,530 annually.
