Environmental Economists


Environmental economists earned average base salaries that ranged from $61,356 to $140,702 or more in December 2017, according to The Department of Labor does not provide information on environmental economists, but reports that in May 2016, the median salary for economists was $101,050. Salaries ranged from $55,150 or less to $181,060 or more. Those who worked for state and local governments earned average salaries that ranged from about $71,130 to $80,530, whereas economists employed in management, scientific, and technical consulting services earned about $133,170 per year.
