Fraud Examiners, Investigators, and Analysts


Certified fraud examiners earned salaries that ranged from about $50,000 to $96,000 or more as of January 2018, according to The Department of Labor reported that financial specialists (all other) employed in the United States in May 2016 earned median salaries of $69,470. The lowest 10 percent earned $39,000 or less and the highest 10 percent earned $118,780 or more. The cities that pay the highest wages for financial specialists include Washington, D.C. ($100,640), New York ($100,410), and Massachusetts ($93,640).
