Insurance Fraud Investigators

Employment for insurance investigators, claims adjusters, and examiners is expected to grow more slowly than the average for all careers through 2024, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Despite this prediction, there will always be a need for investigators. Fraud investigation software has helped investigators to do their jobs more effectively, but people are still actually needed to conduct surveillance and interviews and determine if fraud occurred. Those with certification and experience in law enforcement, the fire service, or private investigation will have the best job prospects.
