Radio producers do not belong to unions. Useful organizations for producers include the Alliance for Women in Media, Broadcast Education Association, National Association of Broadcasters, and the Radio Television Digital News Association. The Federal Communications Commission is a U.S. government agency that "regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories."
