Robotics Technicians

Outlook

Robotics technicians will have fair employment opportunities in the coming years. The Department of Labor predicts slow to average employment growth, 2 to 3 percent, through 2029 for electrical and electronics engineering technicians and for electro-mechanical technicians. Most recently the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted most industries around the world, causing an economic slowdown that is expected to continue into 2021. In general, Robotics technicians will face keen competition for jobs. Those with relevant education, work experience, and certification will have better prospects at finding work.
