Sales Development Representatives

Unions and Associations

Sales development representatives are not represented by unions, but they can obtain useful resources and professional support from many organizations. For example, the National Association of Sales Professionals (NASP) offers membership to sales professionals. Membership benefits include a complimentary coaching call with an NASP Advisor, a free assessment of the member’s sales style and a customized coaching plan and feedback call to discuss results, access to podcasts and Facebook Live events featuring industry-leading sales experts, a monthly newsletter, and other resources. The NASP also provides continuing education opportunities (including Sales 101, a six-week online training program), career support, and job listings to sales professionals. Other noteworthy organizations include the Manufacturers’ Agents National Association, Manufacturers’ Representatives Educational Research Foundation, National Association of Sales Professionals, The Sales Association, and the Sales Management Association.
