Strength and Conditioning Coaches

Employment for all fitness trainers and instructors is expected to grow by 8 percent, about as fast as the average for all occupations, through 2024, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Strength and conditioning coaches will be increasingly relied upon to provide athletes with the extra edge during competition. Despite this prediction, there will be strong competition for positions—especially at the collegiate and professional levels. Strength and conditioning coaches who are certified and who have considerable experience will have the best chances for employment.
