“Unparalleled exposure to seniors and exciting projects, reasonable work-life balance, amazing training and fantastic pay”
New York, NY2019VERIFIED INTERN
Uppers

Lots of events throughout the internship to learn more about the firm and different groups, including outings to country clubs and beach clubs. Got to interact with seniors frequently. People took the time to explain the project and analysis to me. Reasonable hours and understanding bosses. There is no facetime - i never felt like I had to stick around if I had no work to do.

Downers

Sometimes pressure to network your way onto certain projects you want because the analysts typically request the people who work with them.

Advice to Potential Interns

Evercore is a really differentiated internship program. There is no facetime, I was never given outrageous tasks, I learned a ton and got to work on the industries that interested me. There are tons of opportunities to have fun at events, and there is never competition among interns because almost everyone gets a return offer so long as they don't repeatedly do something they are told not to do.
