5 out of 5 Stars
The best part of the internship for me was the ability to interact with so many different deal teams across so many different industries. I was staffed on 6 deals on 5 different industry teams throughout the summer. This was a true generalist experience, and allowed me to get a sense not only for the culture of the firm, but for the nuances of the different groups with whom I might be working next year. I also got exposure to a broad range of transactions - private sell-sides, public sell-sides, strategic reorganizations, etc. Overall, I came out of this summer experience having learned a tremendous amount about the industry, and I left excited to come back again full-time.Downers
I would say the most difficult part of the internship was having to jump into certain projects in media res, and then to have to roll off of them while they were still active. This is the nature of interning in investment banking, though.Advice to Potential Interns
I felt very well informed about the firm from the on-campus recruiting events, and our trek to NYC. There were no surprises - the experience lived up to or exceeded my every expectation.Would You Recommend
