“This internship was a great life changing experience. It has reinforced my goal orientated mindset while improving many necessary skills.”

You were paid for what you produced! If you wanted to make more money for school, rent, etc. you were able to use this internship as a tool to market, make sales, and produce work to earn more compensation. This was all while improving many skill sets that are desired by many employers such as time management, people management, organization, communication and efficiency.

Downers

The commission didn't start until production season (in late May) while the internship started 5 month before at the end of January. This resulted in about 4 months with a lot of work and little pay. That being said, in the end, interns do get paid for what they earn and get paid well!

Advice to Potential Interns

Don't underestimate the amount of time and effort this internship will take. The compensation structure is extremely beneficial for those who work hard and are willing to learn and practice the skills needed to succeed.
