“Not a coffee run internship, a meaningful hands-on/fun learning experience.”

I liked getting to go to Chicago with the other interns, I liked that I actually learned and did real work for clients, and that I had fun doing it.

It actually is hard to find something wrong with the internship, the only thing would be I wish there was more communication about the internship. I did not know when my internship was ending, and only found that information a few weeks before I ended.

Advice to Potential Interns

Take in as much as you can while you're here because 10 weeks goes by fast. Plante Moran will make a conscious effort if you would like to shadow departments outside of your own, so communicate what you would like to gain out of the internship. In addition, make sure to ask for as much work as you can, you'll be doing actual client work so the more exposure you can get, the better.

Advice to Management

More communication about the internship to our buddies would be helpful. My buddy did not know when I was ending my internship, and was not informed about the networking intern/buddy TopGolf and dinner events when we first started our internship.
